Slim EMIAE MRL Elevator - Rue de la liberté, Fort-de-France, MQ, FR
A tiny and slim looking French generic elevator with Sodimas fixtures, installed by a local Martinican company called EMIAE which is short for "Entreprise Martiniquaise D'installation D'ascenseur & D'electricite". This is the only non-OTIS elevator I've managed to get in Martinique. The control cabinet sits just beside the elevator on the ground floor.

Took me a while to find this elevator which is tucked behind the Lobby A passenger elevators. Probably an old EFACEC. It got slightly upgraded by OTIS with Elegance fixtures imported from Italy. I wasn't gonna film this, but when I found out that it has a pull-out wooden scissor gate I decided to do so. It's also single speed, meaning that it simply stops without slowing down first. Those indicators were originally created by Cenia. ThyssenKrupp inherited them after they took over Cenia.
It can as well be installed in years 2004-2005

Just to ask, what's the model name of the elevators in WTC 5? (Before modded)
Not entirely sure. I'm assuming the original 1970s system before the 1990s mod was Transitronic but again I'm not really sure.
@@idl3k_elev Okok. Then do you know the model name of elevators in WTC 6? I mean the toshibas. My first guess is probably CV20 or CD10, but is that correct?
Again not sure, but they had "Command 80" group control system with Thyristor Leonard drive. For the new elevators, they should be ELCOSMO-III if they're full replacements.

This elevator model is CD10(Smaller elevators) or AC-2{Larger elevators, brand name ELEMATE(エレメイト)}, and this elevator speed is 1.5m/s(90m/min) or 1.25m/s(75m/min).

I’ve ride that old Toshiba elevator (before it was replaced) 7 - 9 years ago as a child
There was another identical elevator in the eastern part of the check-in halls which was sadly removed (?) when the terminal was renovated. These Toshiba elevators were quite unique and rare in Indonesia.

Yep, the last time I rode the east elevator was in December 2012. Renovation works began in 2013 and at the same time the new international terminal was just completed, although domestic flight services had to be temporarily shifted to the new terminal whilst the existing terminal was being renovated until 2014.
Where is the keycard reader for this one? If we need to go to 3, how do we go there if there is no keycard reader
The card reader is behind the capacity plaque on the COP. I remember seeing a staff tapped his card on the plaque and pushed the button.

Just enter from Gurney Drive and you'll see them. If you enter from Jalan Kelawai you will only see the Fujitec glass lifts.
At least the motor sounds good, in Espinho (Portugal) I saw an Otis GeN2 that was a mess

Now that HAO Mart has taken over OG as this building's master tenant, these lifts now play HAO Mart's own song in the background. The original floor indicator in the lift car was retained though deactivated during modernization. The hydraulic Mitsubishi lift at the building's rear entrance has also been modernised into a generic traction model but I can't tell what brand it is (again it's original floor indicator in the lift car was retained too)

This elevator looks nice even after the mod, I like those fixtures. Those button panels are called Otis Alto, and are also quite rare in continental France, I haven't found many of these.
Is the flat stainless steel variant also part of OTIS Alto? Any sources that prove these fixtures are known as Alto? I couldn't find brochures or publications of these fixtures on Wayback Machine sadly :(

It has "Aktel" fixtures. And also, AKE had installed its lifts under the name "ANKE" for a while.
No wonder when I searched "ANKE" Google gave me AKE instead, strange.

Emergency light. Should the power in the building gets cut off unexpectedly the light will illuminate.
These elevators are Otis 2000 VF MRL, because of the sound of the motor
No wonder the brake sounds much louder than an ordinary 2000 VF. Wish the top floor was unlocked though. Any other thing to tell these are 2000 VF MRL?
In their time they would be the best Otis 2000 on the market, the motor sounds very good

For me, lack of chime and/or voice doesn't matter too much. There are many other "soundless" elevators out there.
1:31 It seems to be the animated Hyundai elevator voiceover in one of the TG97 animations
Just my guessing, I think the original one is AC-VV(CCL)
